In this San Francisco residence, Lizette Marie Interior Design transformed an art-filled home into a sleek, cat-safe retreat for a globe-trotting couple and their five beloved cats. Inspired by the sweeping Bay views and the clients’ exceptional art collection, LMID focused heavily on custom millwork—crafted to be both visually striking and resistant to the wear and tear of pets. Every cat-care necessity, from litter boxes to feeding stations, is cleverly concealed, preserving the home’s minimalist aesthetic. The primary bath remains a cat-free sanctuary, with hidden access integrated seamlessly into the design. From the serene palette to the sculptural details, the space reflects both luxury and practicality. The result is a balance of restrained design and functional ingenuity, showing a deep understanding of how the clients live.
