BREAK THE CYCLE 2017
Local interior designers help local nonprofit, New Door Ventures, raise funds in a unique charity auction event. "We’ve tapped the inspirational minds of San Francisco’s premier design professionals and tasked them with reimagining the possibilities of a bicycle and they've come up with 16 fabulous pieces of art for the home." says Robert Templon of Studio Becker.
Inspired by the shape of the bicycle itself and the classic arc lamp from the 1960s, our fixture really breaks the cycle. This modern floor lamp emits a glow both from the resin base and its cantilevered steel arm. With a unique play on solid and void, transparency and textures, a bike sits somewhere amidst the glowing base. Where is it?
